As per reports, the Raabta actors will be performing together at the grand event. Sushant Singh Rajput has been nominated for Best Actor for the biopic on former Indian cricket team skipper M S Dhoni in the film M S Dhoni: The Untold Story.
On Wednesday, IIFA began its festivities by ringing in the Nasdaq stock exchange bell at Times Square, marking the globalisation of Indian cinema. The founders of the International Indian Film Academy Awards Andre Timmins and actress Sonakshi Sinha were also present at the event.
“What an honour ringing the closing bell at @nasdaq! Sonakshi becomes the fourth Indian actor to ring the bell at NASDAQ after Shah Rukh, Kajol and Preity Zinta.
This year IIFA will offer a blend of fashion, music, dance as well as food as a first-ever culinary contest organised by New York-based Indian chef Vikas Khanna making it the most happening one.
